2008-09 annual report released

Victoria Legal Aid's (VLA) fourteenth statutory annual report was tabled in State Parliament this morning.
The report details VLA's activities in the 2008-09 financial year. As well as achieving record levels of service, other notable trends include a marked increase in the number of visits to our website. Calls to Victoria Legal Aid’s free legal telephone information and referrals service also jumped, having set up the Bushfire Legal Helpline to assist people affected by the Black Saturday Victorian bushfires.
